Employment Contracts
Disputes over offer letters, written agreements, bonus plans, non-solicits, and other employment contract terms.
In plain terms
Employment contracts and offer letters can control pay, bonuses, equity, notice, and post-job restrictions—but only to the extent California law allows. Disputes often turn on whether a promise was clear enough to enforce, whether the employer changed terms unilaterally, or whether a covenant is void as against public policy. Written agreements matter; so do handbooks, commission plans, and course-of-dealing when the paperwork is incomplete or contradictory.
